The hell with winter! What snow?? I am making a drink in a hollowed out pineapple just because!

The Mastodon - I would love to hear how Alex Smith came up with the name of this drink! I mean, who doesn’t want an umbrella drink served in a hollowed out pineapple? I have always been fascinated by Mastodons and Wooly Mammoths. Maybe that is why I love their cousins, the Indian and African Elephants so much! They are my spirit animals for sure. A friend growing up had a skull of either a Mammoth or Mastodon in his bedroom. Yes, really! They are always digging up skeletons on farms around Michigan by accident. I have a cheap, $10 tool I bought on Amazon that cores the pineapple perfectly. Once that is done, drain any excess juice into a bowl and save for later. In a Stainless Steel mixing cup of 4-6 cubes of ice add:

• Pineapple juice

• Fresh Lime Juice

• Passion fruit Puree

• Licor 43

• Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur

• Knob Creek Bourbon
