Monk’s Respite
Monk’s Respite - Monk’s…..doin’ Monk stuff…. Well if I was a young Monk ( I am soooo not!), I would want something cool and refreshing to set my karma, balance and Zen. This tasty treat was created at Smuggler’s Cove in San Francisco by Steve Liles. I think he is on to something here! If you still need something else, here are some tips:
Follow these five steps to give yourself a karmic cleanse.
Be grateful: for every experience, both the good and the bad.
Act with love: towards everyone no matter what they’ve done.
Check your motives: and make sure they come from a place of love for self and others.
Watch your attitude: because negative thoughts create angry energy directed at you.
Forgive: It can be the hardest thing to do, but the most important in creating great karma.
For everything else, add these ingredients to a steel mixing cup of crushed ice:
Fresh Coconut Water
Fresh Lemon Juice
Honey Simple Syrup
Chartreuse
Junipero Gin from San Francisco
Boylan’s Club Soda
Hella’s Orange Bitters
Flash blend and Open pour into the drained coconut. Garnish with an edible orchid. Enjoy!
