Calico Manhattan

This tasty treat from Golden Age Spirits’ Marque Reserve Exxtra Anejo 8 Year Old Rum is after my own heart. An aged rum Manhattan is a staple in my home. The aging in ex-Bourbon barrels sends familiar hints to your palate. The tropical accents from the Caribbean aging let’s you know that “This isn’t my Grandpa’s Old Manhattan”!

• In a crystal mixing glass of cubed ice add:
  2oz Marque Reserve Exxtra Anejo Rum
  .5oz Lustau Sweet Vermut
  .5oz Dolin Extra Dry Vermouth de Chambrey
  2 dashes of Fee Bros Orange Bitters
  Stir for 30 seconds and strin into your favorite fancy coupe!
  Garnish on a pick with Traverse City Whiskey C. Cherries! Enjoy!
  PS, if you have a home smoker, smoking the cherries is a nice touch!
