Elvis’s Throne

The story of Elvis is the story of America: humble beginnings that graduate to glorious excesses. Elvis was the embodiment of this ethos.

The vibrant color of this comes from the premium Blue Curaçao from The House of Giffard @oceane.giffard.usa.

Elvis loved his midnight snacks. Mostly notably a Peanut Butter & Banana Sandwich. In a direct homage to this unearthly hankering and Elvis’s love for all things Hawaiian I have created : Elvis’s Throne.

In a mixing glass add:

1.5 oz Giffard Blue Curaçao

1.5 Diplomatico Planas Rum

1 oz Giffard Banane du Brasil

1/2 oz Master of Mixes Orgeat

1 oz Natalie’s fresh lemon juice

2 dashes Scrappy’s Grapefruit bitters

Rim a martini glass with lemon juice and dip in ground peanut powder

Fill glass with ice and pour in liquid.

Garnish with lemon peel and pineapple leaf sailboat
